Hermke Timm was born and educated in Germany, trained as an engraver, worked in Switzerland and Norway, studied art and design at the Fachhochschule of Design in Germany, immigrated to the USA in 1964, founded Mint Masters, Inc, and received numerous awards in Germany and USA. His studio is located in Door County, WI.
